Zuzalu Presentation on Network States – or why Network States are silly

As some of you probably know, in May I was at Zuzalu, a “pop-up city” sponsored by the Ethereum Foundation and Vitalik Buterin in Montenegro, where I was with Primavera and the rest of Blockchaingov to work out our conceptual framework for “Coordi-Nations” our Network State alternative. During the public part of our residency, I gave one of the first presentation on a condensed critique of the book The Network State, its connections to the alt-right, and why we find it problematic.

The plan was for the organizers to upload all of the videos but for some reason, our videos still have not been uploaded although the others already have been for weeks now. Since I had access to the videos, instead of waiting and since they haven’t answered my inquiries about it, I’m doing a little bit of direct action and uploading my presentation for patrons to check out :)

I did the full presentation together with Ori Shimony, founder of dOrg and previous guest on the podcast, but his part was separated in the video creation. We do answer the questions from the audience together at the end however.

To watch the video you can find it on Patreon if you are a subscriber or by purchasing the TBS NFT below which this page will then show the video. The NFT costs 10 BREAD per month and you can mint the BREAD on the Bread Crowdstaking Application with DAI on Polygon. Learn more about it here.
